So I expanded upon the original Half-Life 2 on PS4 project by replacing the original HDD from December 2006 with a brand new SSD! While Fedora 32 recieved a massive boost from the SSD, will that translate to gameplay performance improvements? The PS4 is connected via HDMI to a 240hz monitor, I opted for keyboard/mouse rather than a controller. Want to see me install Linux to the SSD on the PS4? How about extract my Windows installation of HL2 to my Linux installation? All of this and much more can be found in the first part of this stream, found here: youtu.be/NpLOW6D2qRg

Hey I remember when running Linux on PS4 meant actually losing all performance, it's not looking perfect now but it certainly is playable, interesting.

More than playable actually, maybe it should cap at 60 so it is more consistent.

I still have a few tests I can run, hopefully I can get it up to 60 fps. So far, I'm still really impressed with what it can do!
