I feel like there are a lot of things that even in the ep3 script weren't wrapped up at all. I hope when hl3 does eventually release, its plot will be better concluded. (maybe also open up possibility for future hl games)

I think game would be a better game if all game we be like not as hero\savior for everybody. But an antagonist in eyes of humans, because last thing that Humans see's in HL1 - Gordon goes to Xen, and portal storms start occuring on whole planetm then Combines come's up.
I think the portal storm started before that
