Sorry what ? Prospekt better, Awakening is better. And some peoples say it good Op4 continuation ? why ? What part in this mod telling you this is opfor ? talking PCV ? what a waste of time

You’re exaggerating. Prospekt is awful, and to even say that it’s better than this is blasphemy. The part of the mod telling you that you’re Adrian Shepard is when you wake up, get told by G-Man to wake up, and everyone is scared of you. The mapping is great, actually. You need to think for a moment before moving on, just like HL2. I don’t want to diss your broken English, because you might be from another country, but that paragraph made little to no sense. Maybe realise that Half-Life is a puzzle-shooter, just like Through The City, the voice acting is tremendous, and the combat is just like Half-Life 2.
mapping isnt great in this mod. Prospekt bad ? yeah. It has bad and monotonne gameplay. But it has great start where you got all that flashbacks. About puzzle shooter. You're right. BUT. In trough the city none of good puzles or good shooting. I can only remember where we need to fight waves from enemies... 1 in 10 seconds and then door just open. no thanks
the things you pointed out as "bad mapping" are very nitpicky and most of them make sense plus half life games were never meant to be realistic, examples are the ingredibly small rocket silo in half life 1 or small trainstation which if half life 2 was realistic would be x10 bigger. and the mapping is not that bad as you say i think that some places look really cool like the breencast near the overpass, not every room needs to have a bazilliion decals and models also the 2007 mods look way worse than that and comparing ttc to prospect is just stupid. prospect is litteraly just a paid hl2 mappack, it adds nothing not even like models swapped for gloves or something. even if it was free it would just be a 6/10 for me. and of course the gameplay is a bit samey at the end of the demo its only the first chapter
Man. You forgot how HL1 and HL2 was selling. It was promoted like very realistic expirience. Almost every time. Mods from 2007 look worse ? No. Just google what mods created in that year. You will be surprised
