Hi all, A user attempted (and failed) to DDoS the site, taking it offline very briefly by flooding it with fake traffic/requests. No user data or security was compromised. At most, this attacker managed to crash the site for a few moments scattered over 3 attempts, costing us extra bandwidth charges. The suspects of this have been reported to relevant authorities as we have evidence of offenses that violate Federal and international cybercrime laws. Thanks for your support

"it's just a prank bro!!!"
"we do a little bit of trolling"
''Us homo sapiens devote to committing microscopic to average amounts of trolling, by committing a mischievous act towards other homo sapiens.''
"guess we goin down, guess who's goin to jail tonight?"
bro i don't understand these kind of people, tring to take down the hard work of other people, even if he dint managed to do it, he caused some extra unusual traffic on the page, so they gonna need to pay for the actions of this fool. The sad thing is that he ill probably leave with no consequences at all :/
“Don’t fuck with the science team!”
Trolling failed. Rush back to HQ
Shit. Glad it's been cleared up for now. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
Ah, script kiddies. They learn that LOIC is free and easy, but never learn that getting away with it is the hard part. Good stuff.
Who wants to bet it's the gman cause we know too much. "...we have alerted the suspect's, ahem, employers, as we have...
When I started reading this text, I was seriously scared, but then after reading the text I calmed down, I hope nothing serious happened, in any case, I hope there won’t be another one (at least this year.)
Nothing serious technically - just a very poorly done/failed DDoS attack, but enough to disrupt our team, delay LambdaBuilds and cost us extra bandwidth bills.
