This is some footage I've recorded of a prototype map I started development on, called the "Bio-Labs". This is unrelated to my mod "Half-Life: Alpha Particles, which has ceased it's development. Please give me feedback on what more I can add onto this map, and what I can improve in it. I've fell short of ideas after making this one small area, I don't know what else to add on.

i think it looks fantastic! there's nothing wrong with it that requires improvement! however this is probably just a preference thing; but if you can make the zombie turn after standing up to look at the player, it might be better! and i think the "you die" graffiti could be replaced with a different decal texture, something like this one for example (which is something i made by myself btw, and feel free to use it if you wish to!)

however, in case if you do wish to use it once you put it in the decals.wad file, but you think this is too big to be used in a map, you can use this 128x128 version!

Thanks! I'll try and figure out what I can do with the zombie. I might consider keeping that decal texture you made around, I'll probably give it a color palette too.

you're welcome! just do what you can, you can probably add another scripted_sequence or just turn the zombie around to face the player while it was consuming on the dead HECU soldier before getting up. also for the decal, if you think you can replace the "you die" graffiti like i said; you can go ahead and use it. otherwise, you can use it for future ideas you may have for this mod

The desk looks a bit bland at the moment, so maybe spice it up with like a knocked over coffee cup and a PC?, make it seem like a scientist was in a rush to get away from this place ;)

Thank you, I tried using info_texlights instead of the usual light entity. I was also very inspired by Jane Thrace's amazing mod, Signal-lost. I went with a moody look for the level, a lot like the levels they developed for Signal-Lost.
